Long and relatively narrow (31 miles north to south and 11.4 miles wide at it’s widest part) Scottsdale, home to 3 teams during Major League Baseball’s spring training season (NOTE: nine (9) other MLB teams call neighboring cities home during the spring as well) is really like 4 different towns in one:
North Scottsdale: Sonoran desert setting, low light emissions in most communities so man can truly enjoy the night sky and more completely blend with the Sonoran desert found all around. Hiking trails in the McDowell Mountain preserve await those that want to experience the beauty up close and personal. But don’t think you’re in the middle of nowhere…some of the best dining is located in North Scottsdale, Mastro’s Steakhouse, The Herb Box, Market Street Kitchen (best tomato bisque and grilled ham and cheese sandwich in the state)….Convenient shopping is featured along Pima road but the real gem has to be Market Street at DC Ranch.
Central Scottsdale: Home to Scottsdale Airport, one of the busiest business jet airports in the nation; not to mention…Kierland Commons with it’s shopping, dining, watering holes and golf courses for every level of player… Waste Management Open for the best of us. World renown medical facilities…Mayo Clinic, Honor Health and Envita Medical Center to name just a few. This is where you’ll find Talking Stick Casino and Resort, the Butterfly Farm, Topgolf and, maybe not so expected, one of the newest Aquariums in the country. One of our favorite restaurants in this part of Scottsdale is Roaring Fork, located on Scottsdale Road just north of Camelback it’s the perfect place to eat before enjoying a night on the town…Old Town, that is!
Old Town: Museums, Art Galleries, fine dining (our Old Town favorite is The Mission), bars and nightclubs (Love AZ88 The Bar). Don’t forget the shopping in Old Town as well, the cornerstone of which is the Scottsdale Fashion Square with over 200 stores it is the crowning jewel of Arizona upscale shopping. While at the Fashion Square don’t miss stopping for lunch at either of the two exquisite in store (Nordstrom’s and Neiman Marcus’) eateries reminiscent of Dolly’s at Selfridges of London. With its quaint store lined streets Old Town makes it easy to imagine yourself back in the days of cowpokes, stage coaches and that idyllic western life!
South Scottsdale: More of a residential area/bedroom community South Scottsdale is transforming its looks and feel as more as more new developments and apartment communities are continually being added. Our favorite is San Travesia. Centrally located between Old Town, Tempe (with it’s vibrant university town atmosphere) and Phoenix’s Sky Harbor, the friendliest airport in the nation, South Scottsdale is a great place to call home for those that need to get around the valley and a little more bang for the buck in housing.

Our properties are all Class A real estate with furnishings, housewares, utilities and expenses all included in one easy bill. The quality of our linens and towels is consistent in all our properties and regularly checked to make sure they are on par with our high standards. We have developed a standardized "kitchen kit" that is available to property owners to purchase to ensure the best quality products for our tenants. This provides a standard of housewares for all of our properties. See also our Standards of Quality in the right-hand sidebar on this page.
Our goal is to ensure that our clients are 100% satisfied with our properties. In order to maintain consistencies throughout our offices and the properties we offer, we have developed the AvenueWest Signature Property which provides the same minimum standards for all of these units.
Since our product is not the typical "cookie-cutter" corporate housing unit, all of our furnishings are going to be vastly different depending on the private property owner's style; however, all of the minimum required items will be the norm across all of our properties and follow all standard corporate housing inventory requirements.
We work with fully vetted linen and towel vendors to maintain consistency in the quality of all of our linens and towels. All of our linens and towels are checked after every tenant to ensure that they are still holding up to our standards. Any damaged linens and/or towels are taken out of our inventory and no additional costs will be billed to our clients for these items. All of our sheets have a minimum 200 threadcount. Pillows are replaced in between stays to ensure maximum hygiene. Mattress pads and mattresses are checked in between each tenant also. We have developed a standardized kitchen kit that can be purchased by our property owners to ensure the best quality products for our tenants, which can easily be replaced when needed. This provides a standard of housewares for all of our properties. Regardless if our property owners decide to purchase the kitchen kit, or decide to furnish the unit on their own, all of our housewares (i.e. kitchen items) will be matching.
